दुनिया का पहला ई-बेस अंटार्कटिक में क्रांतिकारी रॉबर्ट स्वान द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था। दुनिया में एक मात्र अन्य ई-बेस पेंच, मध्य प्रदेश में भारत के बहुत ही बीच में मौजूद है। टिकाड़ी, पारस्पनी और सर्राह के वन ग्रामों के छात्र अपनी तुरिया के ई-बेस की अपनी पहली यात्रा से खुश थे।

Welcome to Antarctica once again!: Workshop by Leaps and Bounds
The world’s first E-Base was set up by revolutionary Robert Swan in the Antarctic. The only other E-Base in the world exists in the very middle of India in Pench, Madhya Pradesh. The students of the forest villages of Tikadi, Paraspani and Sarrah were delighted by their first trip to the E-base in Turia.

कार्बनिक डायरी – चरण 5 : अंतिम स्पर्श
भारी बारिश और हमारे बुवाई के दिन बीत गए। हम सब अब धैर्यपूर्वक अपना काम करने के लिए काली मिट्टी और बीज के लिए इंतज़ार कर रहे थे। मौसम को देखते हुए , हम बीज के फूल के बारे में बहुत उलझन में थे , लेकिन हम अच्छे के लिए प्रार्थना कर रहे थे ( हाँ , सचमुच , और हम अपने छात्रों से भी प्रार्थना करवा रहे थे) ।
तब तक , हमने अपने बगीचे को अंतिम रूप देने का फैसला किया। हर वर्ग के पास उनका अपना बोर्ड था जिस पर उन्हें अपना वर्ग विवरण और जैविक पैच में डालने के लिए बोए गए अपनी सब्जियों के बीज का विवरण लिख रहे थे।

The Organic Diaries- Step 5: The Final Touches
The day of heavy rains and our sowing had passed. We were all now patiently waiting for the kali mitti and the seeds to do their job. Given the weather, we were very skeptical about the flowering of the seeds, but we had our fingers crossed (yes, literally, and we made our students cross them too).
Till then, we decided to give our garden the final touches. Every class had their own boards on which they were to write their class details and the vegetables seeds they had sown to put in the organic patch.

कॉलरवाली : एक उल्लेखनीय पेंच मादा बाघ की गुप्त पारिवारिक जीवन की एक अंतर्दृष्टि
यह पेंच बाघ अभ्यारण्य की मादा बाघ को मई 2008 में पहली बार अनिरुद्ध मजुमदार ने बच्चों के साथ पकड़ा जिसे कॉलरवाली कहा जाता है। यह अनुभवहीन माँ अपने नवजात शावकों की कठोर मानसून की बारिश से रक्षा करने में असमर्थ थी और उसके नवजात शावक तीन महीने के अन्दर ही निमोनिया से मर गए। उसके बाद के लगातार तीन शावकों ने बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया, साथ ही इसके दो बच्चों के बच्चों के साथ इन्होने अपनी स्वतंत्र दुनिया स्थापित की। कॉलरवाली के तीन शावकों के बाद का चौथा बच्चा अभी कॉलरवाली के साथ है।

Collarwali: An Insight Into The Secret Family Life Of A Remarkable Pench Tigress
This tigress from Pench Tiger Reserve, captured by Aniruddha Majumder, also known as Collarwali littered for the first time in May 2008. The inexperienced mother was unable to protect her cubs from the harsh monsoon rains and her newborns died of pneumonia within three months. Her subsequent three litters have fared much better, with cubs from two litters having independently established territories. The fourth litter of three cubs are currently with Collarwalli.

हम मिशन पर एक टीम थे और छात्रों का दृढ़ संकल्प एक नई बुलंदी पर था। शायद इसीलिए, बारिश ने आखिरकार रुकने का फैसला किया और हमें हमारे हाथ के बड़े कार्य को करने दिया। एक अपेक्षाकृत स्पष्ट सुबह और दोपहर के साथ, हमें बीज बुवाई के लिए अच्छा समय मिल गया।
