Harsh Piramal

With a BSc in Physics from Kings College London, and an MBA from the London Business School, Harsh now heads Morarjee Textiles, part of the Ashok Piramal Group. His keen eye for photography led him into India’s wild spaces. An admiration for the forests and the tiger impelled him to become co-founder of Conservation Wildlands Trust, to bring his vision of community-based wildlife conservation to life.

The chairperson of the Ashok Piramal Group is also a trustee of the Piramal Education Trust, Ashok G Piramal Trust and the Urvi Ashok Piramal Foundation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree and has attended the Advance Management Program at Harvard Business School. Sharing a love for wild spaces, she co-founded Conservation Wildlands Trust. She is also on the board of Population First, an NGO working on creating awareness and support for the girl child, and is a recipient of numerous awards for her contribution to business.


Dr Anish Andheria

Dr Anish Andheria

The President of Wildlife Conservation Trust has been awarded the prestigious Carl Zeiss Conservation Award in 2008. He is a fellow of LEAD, has also helped set up Kids for Tigers, a nationwide conservation education program and has established a wildlife rescue centre in Mumbai. He has co-authored two books on Indian wildlife and has contributed to several other books and publications, including scientific papers. A professional photographer, he has captured some of the most remote wildlife reserves of India.
