A copper coil ionizes water, freeing it of microbes, and helps prevent diarrhoea and waterborne diseases. We’re hoping to distribute one each to 500 families, which will provide them with safe drinking water for a lifetime.
We invite specialists and teachers in the field to provide training and skills for alternate livelihood options. The following are the costs to hire a trainer:
• Tailoring: Rs 5,000 per month for three months
• Kitchen garden: Rs 5,000 per month for six months
• Arts and crafts: Rs 5,000 per month for three months
This will enable screenings for educational programs across the four schools as well as for community awareness activities.
One solar panel can power electricity for two fans and two tubelights for six to eight hours in two out of the four classrooms of the Khamrreth school.
