कचड़े के साथ आश्चर्य : ग्रीन द गैप द्वारा वर्कशॉप
शायद कमरे के कचड़ों के बीच से एक बहुत बड़े कचड़े का सचमुच ई-बेस में इस वर्कशॉप के दौरान स्वागत किया गया था। छात्रों को कचड़े और इनके खतरों से परिचित कराने के लिए ग्रीन द गैप ने अपने थोड़े से ज्ञान को साझा करने का कदम उठाया।

इस महीने, हमारे छात्रों को अंततः उनके स्कूल पिछवाड़े और स्टोर रूम में पुराने और फटे पाठ्यपुस्तकों के बढ़ते ढेर के लिए एक हल मिल गया। भवन्स कॉलेज, मुंबई , के श्री हिमांशु जोशी और विनोद गोसावी कागज की लुगदी के विशेषज्ञ उनकी पुरानी पाठ्यपुस्तकों के साथ छात्रों को कुछ गुर दिखाने के लिए आए थे।
The Organic Diaries- Step 10: The End of Summer Plants
Our beautiful Bhindi and Barbati plants served their purpose. Our Midday Meal Kitchen in the shcool absorbed all the produce of our organic patch (off course, the produce that remains after the students eat the raw bhindi! Yes, we know what you’re think, raw Bhindi? But, the students love it! We think it has something to do with the sweetness in vegetables when grown organically.)

At this moment, we are more than just blue. We are borderline furious! Our second attempt at the Palak and Methi plants got nullified by terribly untimely rain in October. We thought we had left the monsoon behind in September, but it was just lurking around the corner.

To introduce students in schools at the Karmajhiri side of the Pench Tiger reserve to simple scientific concepts, professors from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) conducted a hand- on entertaining workshop.
ई-बेस में सीजनवाच प्रेरण
भारत भर में मौसमी स्वरुप पर एक राष्ट्रव्यापी डेटाबेस संकलन करने के लिए सीजनवाच एक पहल है। दुनिया भर में जलवायु परिवर्तन के साथ संशोधित हमारे मौसमी स्वरुप के साथ, सीजनवाच पेड़ के अवलोकन के माध्यम से इन परिवर्तनों को मैप करने के लिए एक प्रयास है।
इस वर्ष, हमारे बहुत उत्साहित नेचर क्लब सीजन वॉच कार्यक्रम के हिस्से के रूप में अपने स्कूलों में पेड़ों की निगरानी करेंगे। एक सप्ताह में केवल 5 मिनट लगने वाले इस काम से जैविक विज्ञान की दुनिया में तरह तरह का प्रभाव पड़ता है। एक बार हमारे छात्र द्वारा अपना डेटा रिकॉर्ड करने के बाद , सीजन वॉच के वैज्ञानिक भारत के आसपास के मौसमी परिवर्तन का बड़ा सवाल समझने के लिए इसका विश्लेषण करते हैं।
